This full-time role starts in January 2025 and continues until the summer term. Job Role:
As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students following the National Curriculum.
  • Planning, preparing, and marking to ensure students achieve their best potential.
  • Promoting excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting the school’s ethos of respect, discipline, and personal development.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and department meetings.

Required Skills and Experience:
We are looking for an English Teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life.

Working as an English Teacher for Flourish Education includes:

  • A daily pay rate of £130 to £220, equivalent to £25,350 to £42,900 annually for a full school year.
  • The choice of PAYE or Umbrella payment methods.
  • Holiday pay accrued at 12.07% of your daily rate (PAYE candidates).
