Role: Teaching Assistant, 1:1 (EHCP)
Area: Rowley Regis – B65
Starting: Immediately, full-time (long term role)
Flourish Education is currently working with a three-form entry Primary school in Rowley Regis who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The school has a vibrant and young staff, who are looking for a like-minded teaching assistant to slot into their team.
The ideal teaching assistant would be someone who has previous experience working with children with additional educational needs. This role would be working with a pupil who has an EHCP plan. Familiarity with working with or contributing to ECHP plans would be a distinctive advantage. The pupil has some behavioural difficulties, and the school are looking for a teaching assistant who is calm, patient and has good behaviour management strategies. Prior knowledge of working with SEN pupils would be highly desirable.
