Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School near North Coventry to join their support staff on a long-term basis. The Primary school is very child-centered and the children spend much of their day engaged in self-directed learning.

Our client wants to appoint a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant who has a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. The school is child led and free flowing meaning children choose to engage in a range of different activities, indoors and outdoors.

Required Skills and Experience for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role:
  • Experience working in nurseries in the UK
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Strong knowledge of child development in the early years
  • Providing daily care, such as feeding, naptime routines, changing nappies and ensuring children's comfort
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment, following strict health and safety procedures and ensuring children's well-being
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support babies' development
  • Commitment to the role
Working for Flourish Education as a Early Years Teaching Assistant you will receive:
  • £88.92 day rate to £100 day rate which equates to £17,339 per annum to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Early Years Teaching Assistant  position is located near North Coventry, which is easily commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hartshill and Arley and most areas of Coventry via car, bus and train.
