Food Technology Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education is recruiting a Food Technology Teacher for a long-term role in Worcester, starting in September 2026 and continuing until December 2026. This Food Technology Teacher position is for three days per week (0.6 FTE) and offers the opportunity to work with visually impaired students. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher looking to develop new skills in a rewarding environment.

This Food Technology Teacher role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering engaging practical lessons while supporting students with additional needs. The successful Food Technology Teacher will receive the training needed to confidently teach visually impaired learners.

Job Role

  • Teach Food Technology to visually impaired students
  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
  • Work three days per week (0.6 FTE)
  • Support students to develop their practical skills in a safe learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to provide high-quality teaching

Required Skills and Experience

  • Food Technology Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Food Technology ECT, Supply Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Willingness to undertake training to support visually impaired students

This Food Technology Teacher position is based in Worcester and is easily commutable from Droitwich Spa, Malvern, Pershore, Evesham, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, and surrounding areas.
