Bonjour, parlez-vous français? Are you a passionate French teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary French teacher to begin their role immediately on a long-term basis.

This secondary school with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, has strong community values and is looking for a French teacher who can read, write, and speak fluent French to join their vibrant Modern Foreign Language (MFL) department for their Key Stage 3 and 4 Students.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Teach French throughout KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

Required skills and experience for the French Teacher role:

  • Must be a specialist in the subject.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent French.
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching French.
