We are recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham. This role is due to start in September, you will be expected to plan, mark and teach both KS3 and KS4. 

Job Role:

  • Full class teacher responsibilities across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Planning, delivering and marking Geography lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining high standards of achievement
  • Maintaining excellent behaviour management within the classroom
  • Participating in departmental and whole school meetings

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience teaching in a Secondary School environment
  • Passion for inspiring student learning and individual performance
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent subject knowledge in Geography
  • Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Suitable for those with experience as a Secondary Teacher and Geography Teacher.
