Flourish Education are currently recruiting for local ECTs in the Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas, and we can offer a variety of roles in schools to help support your ECT induction across Early Years (EYFS).

Working as an Early Career Teacher (ECT, formally known as NQT) you will:

  • Deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
  • Work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met.
  • Provide feedback to pupils, in line with the school’s policy.
  • Plan lessons effectively if it is a long-term full class role.
  • Attend meetings and training relevant to this role.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.

To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT, formally known as NQT) role you will need the following:

  • Currently completing a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Qualification.
  • Able to plan and/or deliver primary lessons to all abilities.
  • Experience working in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • A passion for education and a desire to create better outcomes for all your pupils.
  • Be adaptable and reliable, reacting with confidence to new challenges.
  • A DBS on the Update Service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • A minimum of 2 references are required.

Working as an Early Career Teacher (formally known as NQT) for Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:

  • A competitive salary of £125 to £154 per day which equates to £24,375 - £30,000 per annum based on working 5 days a week for the full school year and depending on experience.
