This is due to start immediately, for a long-term cover role until the end of the academic year, you will be expected to plan and mark.
Job Role:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Health and Social Care lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.
- Maintain excellent subject knowledge and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Implement excellent behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Secondary School curriculum and student experience.
- Participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care within a Secondary School setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Proven ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
