This is due to start immediately, for a long-term cover role until the end of the academic year, you will be expected to plan and mark.

Job Role:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Health and Social Care lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.
  • Maintain excellent subject knowledge and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Implement excellent behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Secondary School curriculum and student experience.
  • Participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care within a Secondary School setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Proven ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students.

Working as a Health and Social Care Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
