Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – make a real impact in a vibrant Primary School in Cheltenham! This flexible HLTA role allows you to cover Class Teacher absences, run intervention groups, and support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Class Teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Cover Class Teacher absences, ensuring learning continuity.
  • Lead intervention groups to support pupil progress.
  • Assist with planning and assessment within the National Curriculum.
  • Work alongside TAs and school staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Support EYFS, Reception, KS1, and KS2 pupils across the Primary School.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or teaching qualifications.
  • Experience in UK schools with EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Confident covering Class Teacher absences and running intervention groups.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and child development.
  • Suitable for ECTs looking to gain classroom experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with TAs and Class Teachers.
