Job Description

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for flexible work in a small village Primary School setting? This exciting HLTA opportunity allows you to enjoy the variety of day-to-day supply while still making a real difference in the classroom. With the chance to work around your own commitments and experience a great work life balance, this role is ideal for someone who wants to support both pupils and the Class Teacher across Reception, KS1 and KS2.
Job Role:
• Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with the National Curriculum.
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver small group and whole class sessions.
• Cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment in line with school policies.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) as a TA or HLTA.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments within a Primary School.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence in supporting the Class Teacher and delivering learning independently.
