The role begins after Easter and continues through to the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for planning and marking, and will teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school welcomes an environment where staff are truly valued.
As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:
- Teach either or all, Geography, History and RE throughout KS3 and KS4.
- Planning, marking, and assessment required.
- Comply with the school behaviour policy.
- Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
- Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role:
- Specialist in Humanities
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities- Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous school experience teaching Humanities
