Job Description

Are you a passionate Humanities teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting  secondary Humanities teachers to begin their role as soon as possible.

 

Responsibilities for the Humanities Teacher role

  • Deliver humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
  • Full planning, marking and assessment required.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Work with Head of Department to plan lessons.
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.

Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role

  • Experience in teaching humanities in upper school
  • Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous humanities Teacher experience.
