Humanities Teacher

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school that prides itself on delivering both academic excellence and creative enrichment. This role is due to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching from KS3 and KS4. 

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Teach either or all, Geography, History and RE throughout KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role:

  • Specialist in Humanities
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities- Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Humanities
