ICT Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for an ICT Teacher to work within a secondary school in Coventry. This long-term supply role will start in September 2026 and continue until July 2027.

The successful ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT lessons to pupils across KS3 and KS4. You will support pupils in developing their understanding of digital technology, whilst encouraging them to apply their knowledge through practical and engaging activities.

The school offers a supportive environment for both staff and pupils and is looking for a teacher who can confidently manage a classroom whilst delivering accessible and challenging lessons.

Job Role

• Deliver ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Teach a range of ICT and Computing topics
• Develop pupils' digital skills and understanding
• Differentiate lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
• Maintain strong behaviour and classroom management
• Create a positive environment where pupils can develop their confidence
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Provide constructive feedback and support
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the secondary school

Required Skills and Experience

• ICT Teacher, Computing Teacher, Computer Science Teacher, ICT ECT, Computing ECT, Secondary Teacher or Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Excellent ICT and Computing subject knowledge
• Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
• Confident working with a variety of digital technologies
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Adaptable and reliable approach to teaching
