Intervention teacher

Job Description

Flourish education are recruiting for a Year 6 class teacher to do a mixture of class teaching and SATS Booster intervention work. This role would be starting after Easter half term and would be up until the may half term initially.

Planning would be in place for this role already and the school are open for experienced teachers or strong ECT’s for this position. SATS experience would also be desired for the role but not a necessity.

Flourish education have worked with this school and the headteacher for a long time and have had strong feedback from candidates whilst also seeing a lot of people go permanent within the school.

Responsibilities of this supply year 6 teacher Job role:
⦁ Teaching Year 6 classes with planning already in place
⦁ Follow the planning left by the class teacher.
⦁ Follow the school’s Live marking policy.
⦁ Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff..
⦁ Full-time (5 days), long-term role until May 2024

Required skills and experience:

⦁ Qualified teacher status (QTS) ECT are encouraged to apply
⦁ Good subject knowledge
⦁ Experience as a teacher in KS2
⦁ Able to liaise with and delegate other staff.
⦁ A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
⦁ Minimum of 2 excellent references required
⦁ SATS experience would be desired

The teacher role is based at a school in the central Wolverhampton area and is easily accessed by car or public transport. There is on-site parking for teachers and support staff within the school.
