Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a school on the outskirts of Alcester on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to teach on a full-time basis in a mixed Year 1/2 class starting in September. The school are open to ECT applications for this role as well as experienced teachers.

The school is situated in a village on the outskirts of Alcester. The ideal candidate will have previous Key Stage 1, either through placement or paid teaching practice experience. Experience working with children with SEN and some challenging behaviour is advantageous.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher you will be expected to take on full class teaching responsibilities which include planning, marking and assessment as well as delivering lesson and working in partnership with the teaching assistant.

This Key Stage 1 Teacher position is due to start in September on a long-term basis.

Required Skills and Experience for this Key Stage 1 Teacher role:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). ECT’s are considered

Experience Teaching in Primary Schools

Prior Key Stage 1 teaching experience

Experience working with children with SEN and some challenging behaviour

To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members

Able to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment


Working for Flourish Education as a Key Stage 1 Teacher you will receive:

Paid up to £175 per day which equates to £34,125 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

The option of PAYE or Umbrella

Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate

KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.
