This full-time role starts immediately and will continue until July, with the potential to extend into September. You will be working as a Class Teacher in a Year 2 setting with full planning responsibilities.
Job Role:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
- Work closely with support staff and the wider school team
- Maintain excellent behaviour management strategies
- Track and monitor pupil progress across Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience as a Primary Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher or similar
- Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum
- Proven skills in managing behaviour effectively
- Confident in planning, preparing and delivering full lessons independently
- Experience working in a 1-form entry Primary School desirable
