Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in a Primary school in Stechford to join their staff team on a long-term basis.

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 4 class who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons and monitor students’ progress. This Key Stage 2 Teacher role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning and marking.

This Primary Teacher role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in KS2, as a Class Teacher
  • Commitment to the role
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
  • Marking and assessments
  • Raise children’s attainment
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effectively work alongside teaching assistants
Working for Flourish Education as a Key Stage 2 Teacher you will receive:
  • £168.80 day rate to £232.57 day rate which equates to £32,916 per annum to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Primary Teacher opportunity is located in Stechford which is easily commutable from Small Heath, Yardley, Saltley, Shard End, Tyseley, Bordesley Green, Castle Bromwich and most areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train.
