Job Description

Key Stage 2 Teacher required for a Primary School in Tewkesbury, with both ad hoc and full time roles available starting after April and continuing until the end of the academic year. This Key Stage 2 Teacher opportunity offers flexibility and an excellent work life balance, allowing you to choose when and where you work. Job Role
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Fulfil the responsibilities of a Class Teacher, including planning and marking where required
• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with the Primary School policies
• Support pupil progress and engagement across Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff within the Primary School
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times

Required Skills and Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working as a Key Stage 2 Teacher or Class Teacher
• Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Experience teaching in a UK Primary School
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to adapt to different school settings and year groups
