Key Stage 2 Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a school on the outskirts of Worcester on a full-time basis.

The school are looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach a Year 5 class on a full-time basis starting in September. Unfortunately this position is not suitable for ECT’s.

The school is situated in a small village on the outskirts of Worcester and is part of a wider academy trust. The ideal candidate will have previous Key Stage 2 experience as well as good behaviour management skills and a passion for working with children.

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher you will be expected to take on full class teaching responsibilities which include planning, marking and assessment as well as delivering lesson and working in partnership with the teaching assistant.

This Key Stage 2 Teacher position is due to start in September, initially for the Autumn term with a view to an extension.

Required Skills and Experience for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). ECT’s are not considered
Experience Teaching in Primary Schools

Prior Key Stage 2 teaching experience

Ability to work in partnership with another class teacher as part of a job-share.
To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members
Able to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
 
Working for Flourish Education as a Key Stage 2 Teacher you will receive:
Paid up to £175 per day which equates to £34,125 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate
