Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a warm and caring community-focused primary school in Nuneaton.

The school is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant for a long-term role, providing 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 4 with complex needs.
This position will involve a combination of classroom support and time spent in the school’s dedicated nurture room. Staff work closely with each other to ensure every child thrives, learns happily and reaches their full potential. 


This role is due to start in the New Year for the rest of the year. 

Required Skills and Experience for this KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant role:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 Qualification
  • Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupils.
  • Build effective relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.
  • Experience within UK primary schools.
  • Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children.
  • Deliver interventions
Working as a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:
 
  • A competitive salary of £88.92-£100 per day which equates to £17,339.4 - £19,500 based on working 5 day a week for the full school year.
