Job Description

We are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a GOOD Ofsted-rated Primary School in Cheltenham from January. This Key Stage 2 Teacher position is ideal for someone who flourishes in a supportive 2-form entry primary school with shared planning and excellent behaviour management systems. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering the National Curriculum while benefiting from a collaborative teaching environment. This role is well-suited to a Primary Teacher looking for long-term stability in a welcoming setting.
JOB ROLE:
  • Full class teacher responsibilities including planning and marking
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Teach within a supportive 2-form entry primary school with shared planning
  • Manage behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations
  • Work as a Class Teacher for a Year 5 class
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience as a Key Stage 2 Teacher, Primary Teacher or Class Teacher
  • Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum requirements
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a Primary School team
  • Confidence delivering full class teacher responsibilities
