This role offers ad hoc and full-time positions starting after April and continuing until the end of the academic year, with excellent work-life balance and the freedom to choose when you work.
 
Job Role
 
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Supporting pupils across  Key Stage 2 where required
  • Maintaining positive behaviour management within the classroom
  • Following the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies
  • Supporting pupil progress and engagement through effective teaching strategies
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience as a Primary School Class Teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, including Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

This position is in Cinderford, which is easily commutable from Coleford, Lydney, Dryrook, Newent, Gloucester, and the Forest of Dean. The school has excellent transport links from surrounding areas and also offers onsite parking.
