KS2 Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a KS2 teacher to work in a 3 form entry primary school in the Wolverhampton area. This school have a good and recent Ofsted rating.  This role would be starting after may half term and would be ongoing and potentially up to Christmas.

The school would be looking for an experienced teacher but would also consider a strong ECT.

This school have a strong Ethos and children within the school are number one priority. the school have a strong SLT team who are also on hand to support and have received positive praise from Candidates in previous roles.

Responsibilities of the KS2 teacher

  • experience working across both year groups
  • to deliver engaging lessons to student across year 5 and 6
  • Class marking required
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff.
  • UKS2 subject knowledge
  • Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems
  • Full time position – Monday to Friday

Skills and experience required for this KS2 Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of working in upper key stage 2
  • Up to date curriculum knowledge
  • Taking part and being present in staff meetings
  • To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
  • To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
