Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

We are recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in the Kingswinford area in a 1-form entry "GOOD" OFSTED rated Primary School. This SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 1 with Autism and speech and language needs.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with Autism and speech and language and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable. 

This role will start in September 2025 and continue to July 2026 full-time (8:30am-15:30pm).

Required Skills and Experience for this Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or LSA
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
