Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with experience working within SEND settings?

Flourish Education are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Dudley, to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2025 on a full-time basis (8.30 to 3.30, 5 days per week) until July 2026.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work to deliver targeted intervention to small groups and working on a 1:1 basis with an Autistic child in Year 2.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with  speech/language needs.
  • Deliver targeted interventions across the primary age range,
  • Monitor and track pupil progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and inclusion staff to integrate support into the wider curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting SEND pupils and/or children with speech and behavioural needs.
  • Background as an experienced TA (Level 2 or Level 3)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.

Working as an SEND Teaching assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
