Maths Teacher

We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School near Bromsgrove from September for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking to join a supportive school community on a long-term basis, teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.

Our client school, based in Bromsgrove and rated “Good” by Ofsted, has an excellent ethos and a highly supportive staff culture. The successful candidate will be confident teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

This is due to start in September for the whole academic year with full class responsibilities.
Job Role:

• Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking
• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Promote positive behaviour and a growth mindset within the classroom
• Track pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum
• Liaise with parents and colleagues to support student outcomes
• Contribute to the wider life of the Secondary School

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience as a Secondary Teacher or Maths Teacher
• Confident teaching the National Curriculum for Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills
• Comfortable working in a Secondary School environment
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• £168 - £232 day rate which equates to £32,760 - £45,351 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Maths Teacher position is based in Bromsgrove and is easily commutable from Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Worcester, Rubery, Longbridge and South Birmingham. The school benefits from excellent transport links and onsite parking is available for staff.
