We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary School near Selly Oak to join this side of the year, and to potentially extend to September. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking to join a supportive school community on a long-term basis, teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.

Job Role:

  • Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Promote positive behaviour and a growth mindset within the classroom
  • Track pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum
  • Liaise with parents and colleagues to support student outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider life of the Secondary School

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience as a Secondary Teacher or Maths Teacher
  • Confident teaching the National Curriculum for Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills
  • Comfortable working in a Secondary School environment
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
