Are you a passionate secondary Maths Teacher looking for a better work-life balance? We are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work in various secondary schools across Worcestershire on a day-to-day supply basis.

Working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education allows you to work where and when you want - giving you a great work-life balance! For a day-to-day supply teacher role, you will not be expected to plan lessons or attend staff meetings however you will be expected to:

  • Deliver lessons and work set out by the regular Maths Teacher
  • Create an engaging and motivating learning environment
  • To manage classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
  • Support and monitor student’s progression in lessons
  • When required, mark students’ work in line with the school’s marking policy at the end of every day.

To apply for this Maths Teacher role, you will need:

  • QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Maths (ECT’s, formerly known as NQT’s, are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School as a Maths Teacher
  • Excellent subject knowledge of Maths in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
