Flourish Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term role in Bromsgrove, starting after Easter and continuing to the end of the academic year. This Maths Teacher role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available, and the opportunity to work in a supportive, well-resourced school environment.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated Maths Teacher with a proven record of delivering consistently good lessons and the drive to become outstanding. You will be able to motivate and engage young people, raise achievement across all age and ability ranges, and contribute positively to whole school initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, vision, and a willingness to support extra-curricular activities are essential. Job Role
• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Teach a range of topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, and number theory, adapting lessons to meet different learning needs
• Follow the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Maintain excellent behaviour management within classroom environments
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff within the Secondary School
• Work confidently as a Supply Teacher with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours
Required Skills and Experience
• Maths Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Maths ECT, Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Excellent subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
• Experience of motivating and raising achievement across a range of abilities
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students
