Maths Teacher

This Maths role is due to start in January until the end of the academic year. You will have full class responsibilities and teaching both KS3 and KS4.

Job Role:

• Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking
• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Promote positive behaviour and a growth mindset within the classroom
• Track pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum
• Liaise with parents and colleagues to support student outcomes
• Contribute to the wider life of the Secondary School

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience as a Secondary Teacher or Maths Teacher
• Confident teaching the National Curriculum for Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills
• Comfortable working in a Secondary School environment
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• £170 - £240 day rate which equates to £33,150  - £46,800 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
