Flourish Education is delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Solihull that is looking to recruit a Maths Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team. We are looking for an inspiring and committed Maths Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' mathematical knowledge, encourage confidence in the subject, and create an inclusive classroom where all learners are motivated to reach their potential.

Whether you are an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers the opportunity to further your teaching career within a supportive secondary setting while making a meaningful contribution to students' progress throughout the academic year.

The role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing and marking pupils' work, tracking student attainment and progress, preparing reports, and attending parents' evenings for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes.

This maternity cover position will commence in September 2026 and continue until July 2027.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school
  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine commitment to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment

This secondary school is located in Solihull and is easily accessible by car and public transport from Birmingham, Shirley, Knowle, Dorridge, Coventry, and Redditch. Onsite parking is available for staff.
