Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Droitwich for a maternity cover position from September 2026 until April 2027.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher who can inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that encourage confidence and achievement in mathematics.

Whether you are an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your skills within a supportive secondary school, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside a committed team and make a positive impact on students throughout the academic year.

This maternity cover role is due to start in September 2026 and will continue until April 2027.

Required Skills and Experience as a Maths Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Maths within a Secondary School
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Proven ability with good behaviour management
  • Good commitment to providing a positive classroom culture

  • Pay from £168.00-£261.78 which equates to £32,916 to £51,048 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience

This Maths Teacher opportunity is based in Bromsgrove and is easily accessible by car, bus, and train from the surrounding areas, including Droitwich Spa, Malvern, Pershore, Evesham, Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch, and Birmingham. The school also offers onsite parking for staff.
