Maths Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Worcester. This is a full-time teaching position working across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach GCSE Maths.

The successful Maths Teacher will join a well-established department and will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons, assessing pupil progress and contributing to the wider life of the school. The school is looking for a committed teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils and maintain high expectations.

This role is available from September 2026 and will run through to Christmas, with the possibility of extension.

Required Skills and Experience:

• QTS is essential
• Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Good knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• Ability to differentiate work to meet a range of abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their potential

• Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, equivalent to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working five days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1–M6)
