Are you a passionate Music teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Music teacher to begin their role immediately on a long-term basis.

This secondary school with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, has strong community values and is looking for a Music teacher to join their vibrant department for their Key Stage  3 and 4 Students.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to plan lessons, mark work and attend staff meetings as well as:

  • Teach throughout KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

Required skills and experience for the Music Teacher role

  • Must be a specialist in the subject.
  • Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS /ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Music.
