Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Kingswinford, working within their Nursery. This full-time position is set to begin in February and offers long-term stability, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Working as a Nursery Practitioner, you will be working with children aged 2-3 years, supporting their early development through play-based learning and outdoor activities. The school has a strong Early Years ethos, a well-established team, and is known for its inclusive, nurturing approach. Staff at the school regularly highlight the positive culture and team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities for this Nursery Practitioner role:

• Support children aged 2-3 in their daily routines and learning
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Promote positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider Early Years team

• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Early Years practitioner in a UK school or nursery setting
• A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
• A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months
• Two strong references that confirm your experience in a similar role

• Competitive daily rate: £88.92 – £98.41

This Nursery Practitioner role is based at a primary school in Kingswinford, easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Dudley, Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and Hagley. Onsite parking is available for those who drive, and the school is well served by public transport.
