Flourish Education are recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Smethwick at a welcoming infant school, working with their Pre-school children. This incredible opportunity is long-term, starting in January until July 2026, with the opportunity to extend into the new academic year.

All candidates are required to have a vast knowledge of Early Years, a minimum of a level 2 Early Years qualification, with suitable Teaching Assistant experience in supporting children with learning and development. 

Requirements for this Early Assistant role:
  • A DBS on the update service, or issued within the last 12 months
  • Relevant qualification in Early Years – Level 2/3 or equivalent  
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 in a school or nursery setting
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good understanding of Early Years learning and training
  • Ability to work well alongside other practitioners and professionals in the classroom

  • A competitive salary of £88.92 to £100 per day which equates to £17,339 - £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for the full school year and depending on experience.
