Job Description

Are you a Nursery Practitioner looking for a rewarding role in a small Primary School? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming team in Alvechurch. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in their early years' education, following the Early Years (EYFS) framework. If you have experience in a Primary School setting and a passion for working with 2-4-year-olds, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Support the delivery of the Early Years (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring children meet their Early Learning Goals.
  • Work closely with key children, tracking their progress and development.
  • Assist the Class Teacher and TA team in creating a nurturing learning environment.
  • Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities in a Nursery class setting.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's learning.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience working with 2-4-year-olds in a Primary School or Nursery class.
  • Strong understanding of the Birth to Five Framework and Early Learning Goals.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child welfare policies.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.

Working as a Nursery Practitioner for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:

  • £85.02 - £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 - £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
