Nursery Practitioner

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Nursery School in Wednesbury. This is a long-term, full-time role, starting in after Easter until the end of the year. The hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This Nursery School is highly child-centred, with a strong emphasis on free-flow and self-directed learning. Children are encouraged to choose their own activities and explore both indoor and outdoor environments. The team is passionate about early years education and committed to providing a safe, nurturing space where children can thrive.

The school is seeking a Nursery Practitioner with a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and previous experience in a baby room setting. You should be enthusiastic, hands-on, and confident supporting young children with their daily routines and early development.

Required Skills and Experience for this Nursery Practitioner role:

• Experience working in nurseries or Nursery Schools in the UK
• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
• Experience in a baby room or working with babies and toddlers
• Confident with feeding, changing nappies, sleep routines, and safeguarding responsibilities
• Able to plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support development
• Commitment to providing high-quality care in a nurturing environment

• £88.92 to £100 per day, which equates to £17,339.40 to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Nursery Practitioner position is located in Wednesbury, easily commutable from Darlaston, Tipton, West Bromwich, Walsall, Bilston, and Great Bridge. The school is accessible by car and has excellent public transport links.
