Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for a full-time role in an early years setting?

A welcoming and supportive First School in Droitwich, is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team and work within their preschool room. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This Nursery Practitioner role involves supporting young children during a key stage of their early development, helping them learn, play, and grow in a safe and engaging environment.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting children within the preschool room through play-based learning and structured activities.
  • Encouraging development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Supporting children’s independence, routines, and social development.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure children’s individual needs are met effectively.

To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role, you will need:
  • Previous experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
  • A relevant Early Years qualification.
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Personal care experience is desirable.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and support a positive learning environment.
