A welcoming Primary School in Kidderminster is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their Pre-School provision from September until the end of the academic year, on a full-time basis.

This Nursery Practitioner role is based within a school-based Pre-School, supporting children aged 3–4 years at a crucial stage of their early development. You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment, helping children to develop socially, emotionally, and academically through a mix of play-based and structured activities.

The Primary school is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Nursery Practitioner with strong EYFS knowledge, previous experience working with young children, and a genuine passion for supporting early development.

As a Nursery Practitioner in this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children through play-based and structured learning activities

• Assisting with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum

• Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development

• Encouraging communication, independence, and positive behaviour

• Supporting daily routines such as snack time, personal care, and outdoor learning

• Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team

• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role, you will need:

• A relevant Early Years qualification

• Previous experience working within an Early Years or Pre-School setting

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• A good understanding of the EYFS framework

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A reliable and professional attitude
