Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking to recruit a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing Nursery School in Northfield from September 2025. The position is for three days per week and is expected to continue for the full academic year.

This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for those with experience supporting children with SEND in Early Years and will provide the opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey.

This Nursery School offers a creative and inclusive environment that follows the interests of the children, encouraging independent learning through structured and free play. The school prides itself on promoting respect, care, and empowerment through learning.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing small group and 1:1 SEND support
  • Supporting learning through play
  • Creating an inclusive and nurturing environment
  • Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Working alongside the class teacher and SENDCo

Required Skills and Experience as Nursery Practitioner:

  • Experience as a Nursery Practitioner, Early Years TA, SEND TA or EYFS TA
  • A relevant Level 3 Qualification
  • Knowledge of EYFS Framework
  • Excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Ability to support a range of needs

Working as a Nursery Practitioner for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

  • £88.92 to £95.00 per day which equates to £17,339.40 to £18,525.00 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
