Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher seeking a new opportunity in Nechells from February?

Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to work in a Local Authority Nursery School, starting February 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role with full class responsibility, working Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:30pm.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the teaching and learning of the nursery class. You will be required to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Framework, assess and track pupil progress, and contribute to the wider life of the school. This includes participating in staff meetings, parent consultations, and other school-related activities as required.

Required skills and experience for this Nursery Teacher role:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Confident in leading a classroom of children.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management
  • Confident teaching and planning around the EYFS Curriculum
  • To be able to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant
