Flourish Education are recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to join a Nursery School in the Kings Heath area. This is a part-time role, working Monday to Wednesday, starting in September and continuing until December, with the potential to be extended.
This is a full class teaching role within the 3–4-year-old room. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework, while creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
The school is looking for an experienced Early Years Teacher who can build positive relationships with children, staff and parents and contribute to a supportive Early Years team. PPA time will be provided on Wednesday afternoons, with classroom-based teaching for the remainder of the week.
Responsibilities as a Nursery Teacher:
· Full class teaching responsibilities within the 3–4-year-old room
· Planning, preparation and assessment in line with the EYFS framework
· Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment
· Assessing and monitoring children's progress
· Working closely with the Early Years team and parents
· Following the school's policies and procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
· Experience teaching within a Nursery or Early Years setting
· Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
· Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
· Ability to deliver engaging and creative learning opportunities
