Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking a Nursery Teacher to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School in Harborne. The school serves a multi-faith community, where they value, respect, honesty, forgiveness and love. 

The school is 2 form entry Primary School and contains a nursery class of up to 27 children, on full-time placements. This role would be starting in September and continue until December and is potentially ongoing until the end of the academic year.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Manage full class responsibilities including planning and marking.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Experience with the National Curriculum and EYFS.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Previous experience as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher.
