Part-time Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Flourish Education are currently looking for a Part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in the Willenhall area? Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant? If so, we would love to receive your application. This role is to support an Outstanding school at the heart of the local community working 2 days per week. 

This role is due t start after May Half term and continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high quality support, intervention and guidance to small groups and with the whole class
  • Working under the direction of the class teachers
  • Setting clear expectations and ensuring work is differentiated for each child
  • Provide feedback to pupils on their progress

Minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of the National curriculum and understanding of age-related expectations
  • A minimum of two references on file alongside a professional character reference.

This Walsall school has good transport links from Wolverhampton, Great Wyrley, Pelsall and Birchills. For those travelling by car, on-site parking can be reached by Cannock, Great Barr, Burntwood and Wolverhampton.
