Pastoral Assistant

A partner school of Flourish Education near Tipton are looking to recruit a Pastoral Assistant on a temporary basis. The school has strong community values and as a smaller school they recognise each student as an individual as they strive for academic success.

Responsibilities of this role will include break and lunch duties and providing pastoral support to Key Stage 3 students. We are seeking a committed applicant with strong behaviour management to join the schools current support staff team.

This Pastoral Assistant role is starting In September 2022 and is a full-time position.

To apply to this Pastoral Assistant role, you will need the following:

•  To have supported pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
•  Experience working within a UK Secondary School (If you have worked in a Primary School and interested, please do apply)
•  Minimum Level 3 qualification
•  Previous pastoral experience is desirable

Responsibilities as a Pastoral Assistant:

• Provide pastoral support to students
• Break and lunch duties
• To have good communication with staff and students
• Encourage pupil’s development and learning
