We are recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a vibrant and high-achieving secondary school with a strong commitment to student development. This is due to start in November until the end of the academic year.  You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with full class responsibilities.

As a PE Teacher in this school, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 following the National Curriculum
  • Full class responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
  • Encouraging pupil progress through a range of inclusive and innovative teaching strategies
  • Maintaining excellent behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
  • Supporting extracurricular sporting activities to enhance pupil performance

Required Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognition as an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Proven experience as a Secondary Teacher, PE Teacher, or subject specialist in a Secondary School
  • Excellent behaviour management strategies
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for PE at KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
  • Flexibility, dedication, and a genuine passion for teaching

Working as a PE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
