Are you a qualified PE Teacher looking for a full time role in Walsall?
Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to work at an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school, where the school encourages pupils to achieve high academic aims as well as developing well rounded individuals.
This role is due to begin in September.

As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will generally include:
  • Teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) core PE as well as BTEC Sport/GCSE PE
  • Having a sound understanding of the national curriculum and a range of sports
  • Creating a positive and inspiring learning environment that encourages student participation
  • Maintaining excellent behaviour management both inside and outside of the classroom
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience as an PE Teacher, Coach, Secondary Teacher, or within a Secondary School setting
  • Sound understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of a number of different sports (Netball, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Fitness, Tennis, Athletics, Cricket, Dance, Rugby, Hockey etc.)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive rapport with students
  • A commitment to inspiring pupil progress through creative practical teaching
Working as a PE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £160 to £245 per day (£31,200 to £47,775 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year)

This PE teacher position is in Walsall which is easily accessible from Sandwell, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Telford and Birmingham.
