Flourish Education are currently working with a large First School located on the outskirts of Redditch. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception class on a full-time basis.

The school is large in size, a good reputation in the local area and a friendly and welcoming staff team.

The role required is to work as part of the Early Years team. As the teaching assistant you will be expected to deliver small group phonics interventions in order to raise attainment levels. Work will be planned by the class teacher.

The teaching assistant role is due to start ASAP and continue on a full-time ongoing basis.

To apply to this teaching assistant role you will need the following

·         Experience working with Primary School children

·         Minimum Level 2 Qualification

·         Experience in EYFS is essential

·         Knowledge of Phonics

·         Be enthusiastic about working with children

·         Good behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

·         Deliver small group phonics interventions

·         Work in partnership with the class teacher

·         Manage behaviour
